How about a peek into baby Jonas’s nursery? You saw a little glimpse of his SheetWorld sheets in this post, but there’s a lot more to see! I can’t help but notice the fact that I blogged about Afton’s nursery before she was born and am getting around to Jonas’s when he’s nearly six-months old—second child problems, right? ;)

Above the crib is a boat hull model given to Alex by his brother years ago (and repainted to coordinate) along with three square photo prints from my Etsy shop.

And of course this fabulous pinwheel mobile from PinwheelRevolution. This lovely piece is extremely well-made. I love the colors and the way the pinwheels spin when the ceiling fan is turned on. :)

Next to the crib is the changing table/dresser, which also has two prints from my shop above it. Those two frames had different prints in them for years at my old office and had already been relocated to that same spot in this room long before it was a nursery. We just swapped out the prints for these two, both from our trip to Whistler.

Next to the dresser, we used a couple of these little Ikea shelves (left over from Afton’s nursery at our old house) to display some of our lovely maternity photos along with a few knickknacks (handmade wooden animals from Morocco and another pinwheel that was attached to flowers we received from friends when Jonas was born.)

There’s one more framed maternity photo on the bookshelf, plus storage baskets for blankets, sheets, burp cloths, etc… and of course lots of books!

I love the view of the shelf from my comfy nursing chair! It’s the same one we had in Afton’s nursery, too, and it’s holding up perfectly. We fell in love with poufs in Morocco (and bought one there that’s currently in the living room), but this one’s from Tuesday Morning! And the table and lamp are from Marshalls. :)

So is this toy basket. :)

Just the other day I hung up this authentic dream catcher that my brother brought back from a recent guys’ trip to Alaska.

There’s a huge closet in this room, which really limits the wall space, but I still maximized the decor on that fourth wall by adding this nautical Walter Anderson print along with this metal scuba diver made by Alex’s dad years ago (and also re-painted by Alex.)

The nursery might be my favorite room in the house! I like to think that it’s not too babyish and that Jonas will still like this decor for years to come… we’ll see!
