Fall has always been my favorite season, and I sometimes feel a little wistful about the lack of colorful leaves on the Gulf Coast. I’m not sure if this past fall season was different than usual or if I have just gotten better at finding the color, but in any case, in November, I amassed quite a collection of vibrant autumnal photos created right here in our neighborhood.
Our visits to the duck pond were definitely more colorful than usual.
The gorgeous colors in our backyard were such a wonderful surprise!
Speaking of surprises, we were not expecting Alex to cook up a full Thanksgiving feast the day after returning from a work trip to Spain!
I was pretty exhausted from solo-parenting for nearly 2 weeks, so it worked out great that his jet lag didn’t hit him until the next day, ha!
So much to be thankful for, indeed!
