Can you pass this Wedding Spelling Test?

I have to make a confession today: I am a major word nerd.   I think it's fun to diagram sentences, and Emily Dickinson sets my heart aflutter. I have a collection of photos of grammar errors, I get anxious when I read dangling modifiers, and I have a strong opinion about the Oxford comma. (See what I did there?)

I don't prefer being called a Grammar Nazi, so I try not to be too pedantic, but I do think it's important to use words correctly in order to communicate clearly and effectively. It's a shame that we've come to rely so heavily on spell-check (or worse, auto-correct) to help us get it right. It doesn't always work! Spell check will tell you if the word you just wrote is, in fact, a word, but it usually will not tell you if it's the right word.

That's where my nerdiness comes in. I have noticed some words that are frequently misused by brides, wedding vendors, and wedding bloggers, and I want to help! If you're going to be writing about weddings (yours, your clients', anyone's!), you want to make sure you're spelling the words correctly, right? Maybe you could use some help with that, or maybe you're already a big nerd like me, or maybe you're somewhere in between. Not sure? Take this quiz to find out!
