Love-Grable Family | Ocean Springs Photographer

Ocean Springs has become quite the destination lately, it seems! I guess our “secret coast” is not so secret anymore, eh? ;) I’m not sad that the secret is out, because it is SO MUCH FUN to see this place through visitors’ eyes, especially when those visitors are as lovely as this sweet family. Besides their obviously impeccable taste in vacation destinations, Michele & Nick are full of good ideas, not the least of which is scheduling family portraits during vacation. Genius!

I didn’t hesitate to double as tour-guide while creating these portraits, and I think I convinced them to fall in love with my favorite live oak tree. ;)

I might’ve been a little partial to Ethan because he is so much like Jonas (my own two-year-old), all the way down to his fascination with sticks. We joked that this session should just be called “the one with the sticks,” and I’d say it fits!

Between sticks, though, he still found time to pick some flowers for Mommy…

…and play with Daddy. I love that he didn’t fall for my “hold daddy’s hand and help him balance on the log” schtick, because the try-to-pull-daddy-off-the-log photo is even better, ha!

After a full day of vacationing, they had thoroughly experienced Front Beach, so it was fun to let them in on the non-touristy serenity that is East Beach. :)

I geeked out identifying all the birds we saw along the way (including skimmers, which aren’t an everyday sight!), and we soaked up every last drop of light until the FULL MOON showed up!

Thank you so much, Love-Grable family for letting me help you document your Ocean Springs vacation! I hope you enjoyed it enough that you can’t resist coming back next year! I promise Tatonut will be open again by then. ;)
