She's here!! Afton Rose Miller arrived at precisely noon on August 17th, weighing in at 6 pounds and 14 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches long. Labor and delivery were (like pregnancy) not as bad as I was expecting, and Alex and I are overjoyed to welcome this sweet little girl into our family!
She's been very alert from the very beginning!

She's been sleeping in a very old bassinet that has been in our family since my grandpa was a baby!
My mom (Sweet T) has been here since a bit before Afton's due date, and my dad (Granddaddy) joined us this week, so we have had lots of wonderful help adjusting to our new life. Here's to hoping we can handle it without them!
