I have lots of photos to share from last month! I’ll save the vacation photos for another post—first, here’s a peek at what we were up to at home.
Jonas kept up his excellent sleeping habits, and still loved being swaddled—unlike Afton, who hated it from the beginning. I’m curious to see if this difference keeps up as he gets older; Afton often says “Don’t get me stuck!” or “I don’t like tight!” to this day.
It was hot, but we still took some lovely walks in the neighborhood.
Afton had a lot of fun in the kitchen, whether helping us cook…
…or doing science experiments! (This one was a sink-or-float activity from Little Passports—still a favorite at our house!)
Afton took her first dance class, and she’s hooked!
See?! She even did some dance moves while modeling this new Mexican dress that Memaw and Popaw brought back from New Mexico. I had big plans of her wearing this along with the matching flower crown to Frida Fest, but the crazy rain kept us away. :(
We also had a great visit to Lynn Meadows Discovery Center with some wonderful new friends!
These two had the sweetest little tea party…
…shopped (and worked) at the grocery store…
..starred in TV shows…
…did an art project…
…and had tons of fun learning about science.
